RE Casper:
My name is RE Casper. A child of the arts, born and raised in rural Southern Illinois, I discovered my creativity early on in traditional media, such as oil paints and charcoal. Later, I transitioned into digital arts and for the better part of 15 years, I have worked in web and graphic design, with gigs in digital pre-press, lead design at a video conversion company and art director of an international vehicle graphics company.
In 2009, my wife and I moved to Chicago, IL and by way of some new friends in the Chicago Photographic Society, I rediscovered my passion for photography and in particular, capturing the human condition. I now live in northern California, where I focus on my photography. Specializing professionally in street and documentary photography, architecture/real estate, events, products and fine art. I also host photo walks and teach workshops on street photography and Adobe Lightroom, both independently and through the esteemed Harvey Milk Photo Center.
In addition to my photography, I also produce and co-host the podcast, StreetPX. A relaxed conversational show, centered on street photographers, documentary photographers and photojournalists from around the world. Exploring background stories, new inspiration, the craft, current news and random topics every episode.

Jim Watkins:
My interest in photography began on the streets of Paris, France in 1991. Armed with eleven disposable cameras, I explored the City of Light to document my lifelong dream of visiting the city. Two years later, I returned to Paris – this time with a real camera – and I was forever hooked on photography. Although gainfully employed in the banking industry in Chicago, I continued to follow my passion for photography. Now, after 35 years in the banking industry, I’m working full-time as a photographer in California’s Bay Area, concentrating on street, stock and travel-oriented photography. I’ve been published in magazines, newspapers, books and travel guides.
