In This Episode…
Valerie invited California based French photographer Antoine Didienne to co-host this week. Together they answer an interesting question about whether or not you can do your best work photographing a person or cause you dislike or disapprove of. They also delve into the difficulty of capturing the decisive moment.
Guest Co-Host
I am a French born/San Diego living husband and dad. I am also a photographer. I discovered photography due to a social enterprise I co-founded back in 2012. It was a slow burn but once I understood the purpose and power of photography, my life changed completely. Even though I have almost always worked on the periphery of storytelling, getting my first DSLR freed me to tell the stories that I thought deserved to be told. Today, I consider myself a documentary photographer, whether I shoot for commercial reasons or for my ongoing personal projects.
