In This Episode…

This week David Julian sits in for Valerie and interviews photographer and filmmaker Matteo Troncone

Matteo’s Biography

mvff red carpet2.jpg

Matteo Troncone is a Bay Area filmmaker and photographer who lived for five years in his camper van in California and in a tent in Naples, Italy to make his feature film, “Arrangiarsi (pizza…and the art of living)”, 2018, 91 minutes.

For this project, Matteo is the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, narrator, editor, and composer of two original tracks for the film, which he describes as a "non-fiction narrative".

This eight-year project is Matteo’s love letter to Naples, pizza, Italy, and the knowledge that “there is always a way”.
