This week we are kicking off a new segment on Hit the Streets with Valerie Jardin, it's called Photo Faves. My good friend and photographer Levi Sim is on the show to talk about his favorite photography book, source of inspiration, location, subject, piece of gear, etc. I hope you enjoy this episode.

Who is Levi?
Levi Sim is a commercial photographer who travels way too much shooting for clients and teaching photographers. He can make a good picture with anyone, and loves to practice all genres of photography. Making new stories with all kinds of people is one of his favorite past times. The Steve Jobs Portrait Project is his hobby. He writes for Photofocus.com, is the co-author of three books, and loves being an amateur dadtographer.
Levi started making pictures in Cache Valley, Utah, seven years ago. Since then, photography has taken him on unimaginable adventures around the world. From Saudi Arabia to Korea, and from Panama to Tennessee, Levi has not only made pictures of the people and places he visits, but he has also taught tens of thousands of photographers. Now he lives in Portland, Oregon, USA with his wife and daughter.
