Photographic Midlife Crisis with Bert Stephani
This week my guest is photographer Bert Stephani. We talk about his 'Photographic Midlife Crisis' and the steps he has taken to get over it. I hope you enjoy our conversation. Don't forget to leave a comment and share with your friends!
Bio:
Bert Stephani is a 41 year old visual storyteller based in Belgium who focusses mainly on compelling portraiture and documentary work for commercial clients. The rest of Bert's work time is taken up by teaching and producing personal work. Trying to be a good father to his three kids is Bert's main priority and he likes to spend all his free time out in nature.
Some big life changes forced Bert to rethink his life and work. This triggered a sort of "photographic midlife crisis" (that Bert wrote about on the KAGE Collective website). Bert doesn't see this as a bad thing, it's a way to grow as a human being and a photographer.
